Three people, including the attacker, were dead after a rampage in Casper, Wyo., on Friday morning, officials said.
Two bodies were found at the science building on the campus of Casper College, said Lisa Icenogle, news coordinator at the community college. The third body was found a few miles away.
One of the bodies found on campus was that of a teacher who had apparently been killed with “an edged weapon,” and the other body was believed to be that of the attacker, who killed himself with the same weapon, Icenogle said. The attacker was not a student at the school.
The three people knew one another, but the details of the their relationships were not immediately available. None had been identified, pending notification of relatives.
The attack occurred about 9 a.m., Icenogle said.
The school was locked down, and by afternoon classes had been canceled.
