Are we at that heady point where owners enjoy looking up their home values online again? For the moment it would seem so, and ZipRealty has just launched a set of tools to let people do just that.

The Seller Center landing page is easy to use and quick. Just type in the address, hit return and up pop three different range estimates of the home’s value. On a practice run, ResPrice.com returned the highest value range, Zillow offered the widest range and HomeGain offered what seemed the most realistic.

From there click into the interactive pricing tool for nearby comparable sales. Slide the range buttons on number of bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage for a more complete picture.

An explanatory video with the promise to connect the user “with a rock star real estate agent” would seem to be geared to younger or first-time buyers.

Other features or agent help require signing in and creating a password.

Although the feature is unlikely to “revolutionize home selling,” as the press release promises, for now it’s fun for homeowners to watch values regain their lost ground.
