Apple unveils new iPod Nano with bigger screen

Share

SAN FRANCISCO -- Apple introduced the latest version of the iPod Nano, giving the small device a 2.5-inch screen.

The new screen is the biggest ever to grace the Nano, yet Apple also has made it thinner than before. The Nano will now have a home button just as the iPhone and iPod Touch do.

Apple said the updated device will come in seven different colors and will play video once again -- including widescreen video.

Additionally, the Nano now is Bluetooth enabled and has received Apple’s new smaller dock connector, called the Lightning Connector.

The iPod Nano will have 16GB of storage and be available for $149 starting next month.
