Sharon Stone and the cast of "Agent X," the new TNT political drama, is coming to downtown Los Angeles.
"Agent X," in which Stone plays the country's first female vice president, is set to film downtown this week, according to a permit filed with FilmL.A. Inc.
Other TV shows filming locally include ABC Family's drama "The Fosters," which is set to shoot in the Mid-city area; and FX's sports comedy "The League," which has a permit to film in Malibu.
Production activity increased 5% last week compared with the same week a year earlier, with the strongest gains in television, according to data from FilmL.A. reviewed by The Times.
Shoot days for television, which has been up by double digits this quarter, increased 6.3% last week. Activity for features and commercials increased 4.1% and 3.5% respectively. Both categories have seen slight declines in shoot days this quarter.
