Giuliana Rancic not only covers celebrity news, she frequently becomes part of it.

The E! News and “Fashion Police” host has outlined catty details of her romantic relationship with actor Jerry O’Connell in her new memoir, “Going Off Script: How I Survived a Crazy Childhood, Cancer and Clooney’s 32 On-Screen Rejections,” which was written before the eruption that was the Zendaya-patchouli oil controversy.

The TV personality, who caused another mini-eruption last week by discussing her skinny frame, said per Page Six that the “Las Vegas” alum cheated on her with Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and actress-model Rebecca Romijn. And she compared his emotional quotient to that of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Rancic, 40, and O’Connell met early this century at the W Hotel in San Diego and began dating shortly after -- but then the actor set his eyes on Ginger Spice.

“I was being two-timed for one of the lesser Spices?” Rancic wrote in her memoir, adding that when she confronted O’Connell, he said, “Yeah, I know. I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened.’”

The red-carpet fixture added that O’Connell “had as much emotion as the customer-service representative who tells you your bags missed the flight.”

She said she forgave him for his wandering eye, however, and the pair gave it another go until he got flirty with actress-model Rebecca Romijn at a party in 2004.

“Little did I know he was in the VIP area, talking to Rebecca,” Rancic wrote. “As a prelude to feeling up Rebecca.”

She and her beau called off their relationship just after that, with O’Connell being quoted by Rancic as saying, “Things change, but you take care, OK?”

But things seemed to work themselves out after that: O’Connell and Romijn went on to wed in 2007 and have twins together. That same year, Rancic married Bill Rancic, the first winner of “The Apprentice,” and they have a son together.
