A new Hard Rock Hotel coming to Palm Springs is looking to up its music cred through a new partnership with veteran promotion firm Goldenvoice for bookings of live entertainment at the new facility.

The deal also expands Goldenvoice’s reach in the Coachella Valley by giving it a fixed year-round beachhead for live music beyond its focal point in Indio with the Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals.

“Goldenvoice has a tremendous presence around the world and especially here in the Coachella Valley,” Hard Rock Palm Springs Vice President and General Manager Hector Moreno said in a statement. “We are so thrilled to be the exclusive partner to Goldenvoice on this project.”

No specifics on any acts or dates have been announced. They are expected to be detailed in coming months. The new Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs is a 163-room resort slated to open Oct. 4 in downtown Palm Springs.
