Brooks Wheelan fired from ‘SNL,’ he says
“Saturday Night Live” cast member Brooks Wheelan has been “fired” from the show, he announced on Twitter on Monday afternoon.
“Had a blast and loved every second of it. I’m totally honored to be able to make this next joke... FIRED FROM NEW YORK IT’S SATURDAY NIGHT!” Wheelan tweeted.
The 27-year-old Cedar Rapids, Iowa, native gave no other information.
His next tweet was about wanting a can of Mountain Dew.
A representative of NBC said the show does not comment on casting changes.
