"24," the gritty and violent spy drama starring Kiefer Sutherland as American counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer, was a strong performer on Fox for nine seasons with its saga of international intrigue and horrible villains.
In his Emmy-winning portrayal of Bauer, Sutherland personified a one-man army who also had to grapple with his personal demons. And no matter how many times he saved the world, his government never really appreciated him.
The hunger for more "24" did not diminish after the series finale in 2010, prompting Fox last year to bring back Bauer and members of the original cast in the summer series "24: Live Another Day," a 10-episode reboot of the drama.
Sutherland will visit the Los Angeles Times on Thursday at 2 p.m. PDT to discuss "24" and other dangerous topics. If you have a question for him, tweet it to us using the hashtag #AskLATimes.
