How many parties did Tiffany Haddish plan to attend before the Oscars? “A lot,” she said as she arrived at Cadillac’s celebration of the 90th Academy Awards in West Hollywood. Earlier on Thursday, she had been honored at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon in Beverly Hills, and the “Girls Trip” actress said she intended to keep partying.

“I had my 5-Hour Energy drink,” Haddish said. “So let’s go.”

For so many Hollywood insiders, there was no shortage of shindigs this pre-Oscar weekend. The Cadillac bash was one of two parties at the Chateau Marmont alone. Security was so tight that celebrities had to have their wrists stamped before entering the hotel.

Inside the tented patio at the storied hotel, Sarah Silverman hugged Haddish. Having recently appeared in “Battle of the Sexes,” the two-time Emmy-winning comedian said she likes to dip her toe into acting, but added, “I prefer to do what I do.”

A parade of celebrities streaming from the covered hotel entry into the party included Allison Janney of “I, Tonya,” Kathryn Hahn of “Bad Moms,” Angela Bassett of “Black Panther,” Will Arnett of “Arrested Development,” Barrett Foa of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” Joel McHale of “A Futile and Stupid Gesture,” Dan Stevens of “Legion,” Jeff Ross of “Roast Battle,” Mamie Gummer of “An Actor Prepares,” Leonardo Nam of “Westworld,” Francesca Eastwood of “Mrs. Eastwood & Co.,” Chanté Adams of “Roxanne, Roxanne” and Bevy Smith of “Date.Love.Repeat.”

Guests packed the bar and took over all of the seating areas and passageways on the hotel’s patio level. A squad of servers passed assorted canapés, sliders and pigs in a blanket, while in a far corner, a photo booth was set up for all of those wanting a souvenir from the party.
