Hot Property: Ryan Seacrest lists his gated estate for $14.95 million

“American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest has listed his gated Hollywood Hills estate for $14.95 million.

The 10,000-square-foot Mediterranean, built in 1974, sits on nearly an acre of hilltop with canyon and city views. Remodeled during Seacrest’s ownership, the villa has a wine cellar and a screening room. Including the guest house, the property has six bedrooms and 61/2 bathrooms. A tennis court, a swimming pool and mature trees complete the grounds.

Seacrest, 35, has hosted “American Idol” since 2002. He followed in the footsteps of his radio idol, Rick Dees, in 2004, taking over the nationally syndicated Top 40 radio show that airs locally on KIIS-FM as well as the morning drive-time show. His producing credits include “Food Revolution” (2010) and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” (2007-present).

He purchased the property from two-time Academy Award-winning actor and producer-director Kevin Costner in 2006 for $11.5 million. Costner had bought the house from Oscar-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss in 1995 for $2.7 million.

Seacrest did not respond to requests for comment.

Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency, Beverly Hills, has the listing.
