“Khosara” lawsuit: In the Oct. 22 Calendar section, a Quick Takes item about a copyright infringement lawsuit against Jay Z and Timbaland said that the judge threw out the case before it reached trial. The judge dismissed the lawsuit during the trial but before it reached the jury.

Billboard regulations: In the Oct. 23 California section, an article about a proposal to tighten city rules on billboards misstated the number of votes needed for a City Council supermajority. It is 10 out of 15 votes, not 12 out of 15.

Travel letter: In the Oct. 18 Travel section, a letter to the editor regarding traffic infractions in Italy was erroneously edited to say that one of the incidents occurred in Venice. It occurred in Vicenza.
