Magnitude 4.1 earthquake shakes Bay Area
A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Monday near San Jose.
The temblor was centered about 12 miles east of the city and hit at about 5:53 p.m.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, it was felt over a large swath of Silicon Valley and the Bay Area. No damage was reported.
