Flames engulf auto repair shop
An auto repair shop caught fire Saturday afternoon, becoming fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived, authorities said. No one was injured.
Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Darryl Jacobs said the fire burned for about 45 minutes before firefighters extinguished it. About 80 to 95 firefighters were called to the scene.
Mechanics were working on a car at the building, in the 1300 block of West El Segundo Boulevard, when the fire began. Its cause had not been determined, Jacobs said.
