Kobe Bryant honored: In the Feb. 20 California section, a caption accompanying a photo of the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant imprinting his feet and hands in cement outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood said that he was the first athlete to be so honored. Retired Olympic figure skater Sonja Henie was honored at Grauman’s in 1937, shortly after she started her Hollywood film career, and left her handprints and the imprint of her skating blades. —
