OAKLAND -- There have been reports that Clippers owner Donald Sterling has prostate cancer.

No officials from the Clippers could confirm the reports about Sterling, though.

Two of the Clippers were asked about Sterling late Thursday night following their 100-99 loss to the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of the Western Conference first-round playoff series.

“I honestly didn’t know that,” All-Star power forward Blake Griffin said. “But if that is true, my thoughts and prayers are with him. Nobody deserves to go through something like that.”

All-Star point guard Chris Paul echoed the same sentiments.

“Yeah, that’s the first time I’ve ever heard of that,” Paul said. “That’s truly unfortunate.”
