Can’t get started? Try jazz for Ab Ex inspiration. Pollock (a purported procrastinator himself) is said to have listened endlessly while painting. The Museum of Modern Art in New York, as a tie-in with its 1998 Pollock retrospective, put together a CD of music from the artist’s collection.
