If the cost of airfare has kept you out of Africa, this deal gets you there (to South Africa and Zambia), sleeps you in three luxury resorts, feeds you breakfast and helps you explore.

The deal: South African Airways Vacations’ Route of the African Sun, which offers activities as diverse as watching game and touring wine country, includes roundtrip transatlantic coach flights on South African Airways from Washington Dulles (IAD) or New York City (JFK) to South Africa (round-trip airfare will add $250-$300 to this if booked with this package), and domestic and regional flights as indicated on the 10-day itinerary. The package includes ground transfers, eight nights’ bed and breakfast at five-star Sun International Resorts in Cape Town, Sun City and Victoria Falls and a Zambezi sundowner cruise, a Winelands Tour and a tour of Cape Peninsula.

Guests spend four nights at the Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town and two nights at Palace of the Lost City and the Royal Livingstone, respectively.
