Little Big Town brings the Pain Killer Tour to Las Vegas in June

Share

The country band with a big musical sound and a small town feel takes over The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel on Friday, June 26.

Little Big Town broke on the scene 15 years ago with hits such as “Boondocks,” “Bring It On Home,” “Good As Gone” and the Grammy-nominated single “Little White Church.”

When group members Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman and Jimi Westbrook first came to Nashville, they decided the name of the former Little Big Town Music Group, which published hits such as George Strait’s “Blue Clear Sky,” embodied what their music was all about.

The quartet’s fifth studio album “Tornado “ came out in 2012, topping the Billboard Country Chart for five consecutive weeks, boosted by its No. 1 single “Pontoon” and follow-up single and title-track “Tornado.” The Grammy-nominated track, “Your Side of the Bed” and fan-favorite “Sober” are also featured on the album.

Little Big Town’s sixth studio album, “Pain Killer,” debuted last October with hits such as “Day Drinking” and current single and fan-favorite “Girl Crush.” The album release also marked another career highlight when singer Reba McEntire asked the members of Little Big Town to join the Grand Ole Opry, a by-invite-only honor.

Special guests David Nail and Ashley Monroe open for the Las Vegas stop on the Pain Killer tour.

Tickets start at $35 and go on sale on Friday, April 17.
