The reigning kings and queens of tween royalty descended on the Paramount Studios lot Friday for Teen Vogue’s ninth annual Young Hollywood party. The guest list read like a who’s who of the hottest actresses and chart-topping singers under 25.
‘Modern Family’s’ Sarah Hyland made an appearance in a silver ensemble, the ‘Twilight’ saga’s Jackson Rathbone walked the carpet in a navy military jacket and it seems the entire cast of the CW’s fall lineup was there as well -- or at least most of the ‘90210' gang.
Hailee Steinfeld, at 14 the year’s breakout fashion star and Academy Award nominee for her role in ‘True Grit,’ was also in attendance. She showed that once again, her mature fashion sense far surpassed her young age.
Hailee, who models for Miu Miu ads, has quickly become quite the designer expert. She donned a pink Louis Vuitton dress for the ‘Glee The 3D Concert Movie’ premiere, an LV suit at the MTV Movie awards, wore Marchesa to the Oscars and Prada to the SAG awards.
For the Young Hollywood party, she wore a dress with black and white cut out prints from the Versace 2012 resort collection. For a stark color contrast, she finished the outfit with a neon yellow clutch and matching heels. She looked sophisticated and proved you don’t need to show a lot of skin to be noticed as a young actress.
To get Hailee’s look, you’ll need a little black dress with pattern accents. Try the scoop-neck printed smock mini-dress for $23.99 from Amiclubwear.com or the My Michelle zebra-striped dress from Kohls.com for $28.
For some electric accessories get the Urban Expressions yellow vegan clutch bag for $33 from Cityofbags.com or the Urban Expressions yellow Zoey clutch for $38.40 from Shopkitson.com and the Enly-01 neon yellow DamitaK pointy pumps for $19 from shoes19.com or the wild diva cosmo pumps for $37.95 from shoebuy.com.
You’ll look fresh and be able to stand out in a crowd, in a good way.
