With the London Summer Olympics slated to start July 27, writer Alene Dawson asked them how they manage to keep skin and hair in such great condition even after hours in the sun, beach sand and chlorinated water. (She didn’t need to ask how they keep the fit figures -- that’s pretty obvious. It kind of goes along with four-hour sessions in the pool or running on the sand for volleyball fitness.)

Their routines are simple, Dawson found, and have something to do with overall health coupled with prevention of problems. Read about it here.

Then go for a run on the beach or a dip in the pool.
