Michael B. Seligman named supervising producer of the Oscars

Michael B. Seligman was named supervising producer Wednesday morning of the 83rd annual Academy Awards. This marks Seligman’s 34th year with the Oscars.

‘With Michael’s extensive and invaluable experience on the Oscars, we could not imagine doing this show without him,’ said telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer in a statement Wednesday.

Seligman has earned six Emmy nominations for his work on previous Oscar telecasts. The Academy Awards will air live on ABC on Feb. 27 from the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland.
