LIBYA: Arab League suspends Libyan membership

The Arab League has suspended the Libyan delegation’s participation in the Cairo-based body, Al Arabiya television reported Tuesday.
The network gave no further details about the reported move, which came amid mounting criticism of violence against anti-government demonstrators in Libya.
