Because of the fires at Camp Pendleton, Interstate 5 was closed around Oceanside, north of San Diego, said Lee Swanson, a spokesman for San Diego Fire and Rescue. Amtrak service between San Diego and San Juan Capistrano also was stopped. -- Tami Abdollah
