Having already appeared on ’60 Minutes’ on CBS and ‘The Tonight Show’ on NBC, conductor Gustavo Dudamel will next put in an appearance on ‘Sesame Street’ on PBS in the coming season. The Los Angeles Philharmonic released the above still image from the future episode, showing the 30-year-old Venezuelan conductor leading a group of penguins as Elmo looks on.

The air date for the episode has not been announced. A spokeswoman for the orchestra said that Dudamel taped his scenes in L.A. (‘Sesame Street’ usually shoots in New York.)

Dudamel joined the L.A. Philharmonic as music director in 2009. He is set to remain with the orchestra at least through the 2018-19 season.
