I haven’t tried this cookie submitted to the first-ever L.A. Times Holiday Cookie Bake-Off, but I hereby declare it shockingly delicious. (That’s because it was submitted by Dorothy Reinhold of the blog Shockinglydelicious. You can also follow her on Twitter @shockinglydlish.)

You have until Nov. 15 to join in the reindeer games and submit your favorite holiday cookie recipe. The top cookies will be published in the L.A. Times Food section later this year. Until then, vote for your favorites. (You can vote up to 10 times a day, every day.)
