The Santa Monica farmers market is celebrating its 30th anniversary with the Good Food Festival & Conference, which includes films, talks, cooking demonstrations and, yes, dinner. Here’s some of what’s happening, day by day. For more information, visit the website:

The Financing Farm to Fork conference at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica will educate farmers and food processors about different financing strategies and will set them up with opportunities to meet various potential funding sources.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Broad Stage , 1310 11th St., Santa Monica, free.

The opening symposium promises local, state and national leaders discussing the effect of farmers markets.

7 to 9 p.m., Barnum Hall, Santa Monica High School, 601 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, free.

Friday

The Good Food Conference and Trade Show will offer farmers and their trade customers a chance to find ways to work together better and increase business.

School Food FOCUS will join with local partners for a day-long conference focused on improving school food programs.

Localicious, a gala dinner celebrating 30 years of the farmers market, will feature 30 farmers and 30 chefs.

There will be a street fair and a series of panels on market-oriented topics, including good food revolutionaries and can local and organic feed the world? At the same time, Chefs at Play will feature chefs such as Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken from Border Grill, Suzanne Goin from Lucques, Eric Greenspan from the Foundry, Angeli Caffe’s Evan Kleiman, Campanile’s Mark Peel, Mozza’s Nancy Silverton, Spago’s Sherry Yard and Father’s Office’s Sang Yoon.
