If you happen to be in Palau Saturday morning, you can welcome Earthrace, a biodiesel wunderboat that is about to break the record for circumnavigating the globe by a power boat.
In this case, power comes from biodiesel. Last word from the captain’s blog is that the vessel is more than 2,400 nautical miles ahead of the record pace, and running on one engine at that.
