Organic Coffee Tables on Etsy: Uniquely Modern

This gorgeous one-of-a-kind table, composed of several disks of birch plywood to form a uniquely modern table top, illustrates why I am addicted to Etsy.

Arranged by hand and connected with mortise and tenon joints by Portland designer Michael Arras, the table assembles in about five minutes and he swears that cups and plates won’t get caught in the gaps. A variety of tables ranging in price from $500 to $800 are in stock and can be shipped now; others can be made to order. The birch plywood table pictured here ($680) has an orange stain finish which is top-coated with a water-based polyacrylic. Dimensions are 30’L x 23’W x 14.5’H. Custom orders are also an option. Simply e-mail Arras the desired shape and size of the tabletop, the height off the ground (15.25’ or 18.75’), and the color stain preference and Arras will send you a quote. Shipping via UPS is $75.
