Frank, an 8-month-old western lowland gorilla, is among the youngest residents of the San Diego Zoo‘s Gorilla Tropics exhibit. (Not just gorillas live in the exhibit: bonobos, colobus monkeys and crowned eagles also call it home.)
Frank weighed in at about 5 1/2 pounds at birth -- not too different from a human infant -- but as an adult, he’s expected to grow to weigh 400 pounds!
