The Freakonomics blog has picked up our conversation-generating post from Kate in the Valley about her clever but doomed commisssion-cutting crusade. We’re grateful for Kate’s contributions, happy for the exposure and flattered to be noticed by the best-selling economics authors of our time. But truthfully we think the level of economics insight displayed on the comment section here at L.A. Land stacks up pretty well against the Freakonomics crowd.

So hold your heads up high, L.A. Land commenters. You held your own against the big-brain economics theory types from Chicago.
