First time for everything: DataQuick’s September sales report shows a decline in median sales prices in Los Angeles County, from $550,000 in August to $525,000 in September. DataQuick points out the mortgage crisis cut sharply into the availability of ‘jumbo’ mortgages, which likely put downward pressure on median sales price.
