Median listing prices in greater LA dipped, but barely, in the past week, and inventory held fairly steady as well, according to Housing Tracker’s analysis of MLS listings. Median listing prices dipped by $99, to $499,900; inventory rose by 15 homes, to 46,503.

An important note about inventory, though: It typically falls this time of year, so by holding steady it continues to buck normal trends -- LA-area inventory is running 19% ahead of year-ago levels.
