Lisa Fung is arts editor for the Los Angeles Times, overseeing cultural coverage that includes visual art, architecture, classical music, theater, dance and opera. Prior to joining Calendar in 2000, she was an assistant editor for the Business section of The Times, responsible for technology, personal finance and business entertainment coverage. She also worked in Metro/Suburban section and was part of the team that launched The Times’ National Edition. She came to The Times in 1988 from the Des Moines (Iowa) Register, where she was assistant features editor, a national/foreign desk editor and a Metro desk editor and reporter.
