Suzanne Muchnic is art writer for the Los Angeles Times. The author of the biography ‘Odd Man In: Norton Simon and the Pursuit of Culture,’ she recently completed a manuscript on the life and work of artist Helen Lundeberg. She has written essays for World Book Encyclopedia and exhibition catalogs, contributed to magazines and taught at Los Angeles City College, USC and Claremont Graduate University. A graduate of Scripps College and Claremont Graduate University, she has won distinguished alumna awards from both institutions and the 2002 Donald Pflueger Local History Award of the Historical Society of Southern California.
