Does the average age of your co-workers seem younger than usual today?

That’s because your regular cubicle-mate is probably being shadowed by his or her own Mini-Me as part of the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work program.

The event, which has happened regularly on the fourth Thursday in April for more than 16 years, is designed to educate kids about the balancing act that their parents maintain to create a healthy work and family life.

The foundation that administers the program has tips on how to plan an office day for youngsters.
