The National Latino Media Council on Tuesday will hold a news conference to detail its concerns over what it calls failed promises by the four major networks to increase diversity in front of and behind the camera.

Leaders for the advocacy group said in a statement that they are ‘very disappointed with the diversity performances’ of ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox. The statement pointed out that the networks in 1999 signed memorandums of understanding to promote multiculturalism.

A ‘report card’ on the networks’ progress will be issued at the news conference, along with an assessment of diversity in the current TV season.
