That headline if you are of a certain age no doubt conjures up memories of Randy Newman singing ‘I Love LA,’’ Dancing Barry prancing down the aisles during timeouts, the horned-rimmed Rambis Youth honoring their hero.

Magic. Kareem. Chick.

This is something different. This Fabulous Forum is ours and yours, a blog (who invented that word, Al Gore?) to turn to when you want to know what the chatter is inside the sports world as seen and heard through our sports reporters, columnists, special guest stars and our readers and viewers, you.

You turn on ESPN any time during the day and somebody is chattering. Skip Bayless. John Clayton. Chris Mortensen. Jemele Hill. Michael Smith. J.A. Adande. Etc., etc., etc.

Turn on talk radio. Chatter, chatter, chatter.

It’s no different inside our department.

We just didn’t have a way to share it with you.

Until now.

So we’re going to post our own chatter. Not all of it, of course. That’s why we have editors.
