The Ducks and their all-time leading scorer, Teemu Selanne, have reached an agreement on a two-year contract.

The deal, coming after Anaheim unloaded Mathieu Schneider on Friday to clear salary cap space, still leaves the club over the salary cap by about $1.2 million. General Manager Brian Burke is going to address the media before this evening’s exhibition game at the Honda Center.
