It’s poll time:

How the Angels’ potential lineup for Game 2 Friday has fared against Red Sox starter Daisuke Matsuzaka.

Chone Figgins: .500 (1-2, 1 walk)

Garret Anderson: .000 (0-2)

Mark Teixeira: .500 (1-2, 1 triple)

Vladimir Guerrero: .667 (2-3)

Torii Hunter: .286 (2-7, 1 HR, 3 RBIs)

Howie Kendrick: .000 (0-1, 1 walk)

Kendry Morales: (has never faced Matsuzaka) or Juan Rivera: .000 (0 for 1)

Jeff Mathis: .000 (0 for 2, 1 strikeout)

Erick Aybar: has never faced Matsuzaka

If he grew his hair out a little, Philadelphia’s Jayson Werth would be a dead ringer for the WWE’s Edge. Maybe they should start calling him the Rated-R right fielder.

It was sort of sad to see Eric Gagne on the mound today for Milwaukee with his 5.44 ERA. He’s like one of those after-images you see when you stare at something a long time and then look away. It’s just not as good or as bright as the original.
