Boom! Frank Caliendo and John Madden

Anyone who has seen more than 45 consecutive seconds of baseball playoff coverage on TBS knows that Frank Caliendo’s impressions of John Madden and others can be seen regularly on ‘Frank TV.’ Apparently the incessant promos, which run seemingly between every pitch, even get on Caliendo’s nerves. That’s what Jerry Green writes on the Orlando Sentinel’s website.

The promos might be overbearing, but there’s no denying that Caliendo is one of the top comedians in the country right now, and if his work doesn’t make you laugh, well, then you’ve got to be taking yourself too seriously. Here’s a Caliendo clip from ‘Frank TV’ that puts Madden in the heart of a ‘Lost’ episode. Just click on the ‘Lost’ link.

Of course, if Madden isn’t wild about Caliendo’s portrayal, it’s hard to imagine George Bush supporters or the president himself being to crazy about him. One thing about Caliendo, he’s got plenty of material to work with.
