Before every NASCAR Sprint Cup race, each team distributes some observations from their driver. This week, Kyle Busch -- remember him? -- recalled his Halloween costumes as a kid growing up in Las Vegas, which makes sense because his main sponsor is M&Ms.

“One year I went as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, I think that was my favorite costume as a kid,’ said Busch, whose season turned into a nightmare this year.

Busch won a stunning eight Cup races in the regular season, then was all but eliminated from title contention after only two races of NASCAR’s Chase for the Cup playoff.

Busch said he also dressed up as a football player on another Halloween, and his other costumes included Michelangelo.

‘I even dressed up as Jeff Gordon,’ Busch recalled, ‘since he was my favorite race car driver when I was a kid.’

Now there’s a scary thought.
