Highly rated high school point guard Abdul Gaddy of Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma is definite about reconsidering his commitment to play at the University of Arizona next year now that Lute Olson has retired and new assistant and former Arizona State assisant and Sun Devils radio analyst Russ Pernell is about to be named interim coach.

Gaddy had twice selected Arizona over UCLA -- before Olson took his medical leave last season, and, after decommitting, once again last month. Gaddy sent me a text message about an hour ago in answer to the question: Are you still considering UCLA? ‘Yesss I am,’ the text said.
