Injuries already for UCLA basketball

UCLA is having its single open practice of the basketball season and we can’t even watch two of the possible key contributors. Junior forward Nikola Dragovic and freshman guard Malcolm Lee are sidelined with injuries.

Dragovic is wearing a walking boot on his left foot. It’s an injury that was first reported during the first week of practice last month. Dragovic has had X-rays (that showed a cyst) and he has been in and out of practice with recurring pain.

Lee has a strained groin that is supposed to keep him out of practice Wednesday and Thursday.
