Ducks’ Rob Niedermayer sits

Ducks’ forward Rob Niedermayer was a healthy scratch for the game against the Kings Sunday.

It was the first time in more than three years that Niedermayer has missed a game because of a coach’s decision. He had played in 243 of the Ducks’ 254 games since the start of the 2005-06 season, missing 11 games due to injuries.
