NBC ‘Tonight Show’ host Jay Leno used alleged Ponzi scheme operator Bernard Madoff during Tuesday’s monologue to set up a Detroit Lions joke:
They are calling this $50-billion heist the scam of the century. The No. 2 scam -- Detroit Lions season tickets. As you know, the Detroit Lions are 0-16. Oh, I’m sorry. I mean 0-15. I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s just hope they don’t lose their focus.
