The Lakers said they have no plans on raising an Olympics banner for Kobe Bryant.

It’s something that the Miami Heat plan to do for Dwyane Wade.

Wade and Bryant were teammates on the U.S. men’s basketball team that defeated Spain for the gold medal.

Bryant was part of NBA championships with the Lakers in 2000, 2001 and 2002 and there are team banners inside Staples Center to mark those achievements.

But the Lakers said they don’t have any plans to add a banner for Bryant helping bring home the gold medal.

The Heat will raise an Olympics banner for Wade on Jan. 31 during halftime of the game against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Heat will also raise an Olympic banner for former Miami players Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway, who helped American win the gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Games.
