Heavy rain today forced the NHRA Kragen O’Reilly Winternationals in Pomona to be postponed yet again.

The remaining final eliminations in the season opener of the National Hot Rod Assn.’s Full Throttle Series were rescheduled for Tuesday, starting at 10:30 a.m., when clearer skies are forecast over Auto Club Raceway.

Rain already had canceled qualifying races on Thursday and Friday. And on Sunday, only the first round of final eliminations in the series’ elite top-fuel and funny cars classes could be completed between the showers.

Spectators with tickets for Thursday, Friday or Sunday can redeem the face value of those tickets for seats to Tuesday’s rounds, the NHRA said.
