Bobby Abreu doubled twice, and minor leaguers Bobby Wilson and Mark Trumbo added two hits apiece, leading the Angels to a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies today.

Abreu is scheduled to leave the Angels’ camp Monday to join Team Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic.

After the Rockies roughed up Sean O’Sullivan for two runs and two hits in the first inning, four Angels minor league relievers combined to hold the Rockies to one run and four hits over the next eight innings. Fernando Rodriguez, whose velocity jumped after the Angels converted him to a reliever at double-A last season, struck out four in two innings.

The Angels are 3-0 this spring. Shane Loux is the scheduled starter against the Brewers tomorrow.
