UCLA women’s basketball team was down by two points in the closing seconds of its game at Oregon last night when Darxia Morris heaved a 40-foot shot from around mid-court.

And hit it.

It was the second straight wild victory for UCLA, which knocked off No. 4 Cal last weekend.

The win clinched fourth place in the Pac-10 heading into the Bruins’ final game Saturday at Oregon State. They secured a first-round bye and will play the Beavers or USC Trojans in the second round of the conference tournament on March 13 at 7:15 p.m. in the Galen Center.
