USC takes the court

MINNEAPOLIS -- It’s 25 minutes until game time....

USC is on the court for warm-ups. The buzz and excitement of a few thousand North Dakota State fans is long gone. It appears USC students decided not to spend their spring break in Minneapolis. The Trojans’ rooting section is of an advanced age.

USC’s tentative starting lineup is:

Daniel Hackett, G

Marcus Simmons, G

Dwight Lewis, G

DeMar DeRozan, F

Taj Gibson, F

That means Simmons will almost certainly handle Tyrese Rice, Boston College’s slick point guard. Look for Daniel Hackett to be matched up with the Eagles’ Rakim Sanders.
